Mary-Anne Ponti, President

The team is led by Dr. Mary-Anne Ponti, a visionary goal-driven executive with demonstrated high impact on strategy, quality, and operations. Dr. Ponti has more than thirty-four years of first-hand healthcare experience to provide exceptional leadership and management consultation services for the healthcare industry. She builds strong and sustained relationships with boards, physicians, management, and clinicians.

With a diverse background as both a clinician and senior-level administrator, Dr. Ponti has demonstrated ability to improve operations and manage for results related to business growth, quality, and cost management - particularly in tough financial markets. She is a seasoned executive with geographic experience and demonstrated leadership effectiveness, and ability to consistently drive quality and service excellence. Recognized as a healthcare management visionary who has influenced the industry in a number of positive ways, she generates synergies through strong communication skills, positive relationships, persistence, a positive attitude, and resilience. Most notably, Dr. Ponti is recognized for her leadership in McLaren Northern Michigan’s journey from the longest striking hospital in the United States to a American Nurses Association Magnet designated organization.
